A real estate professional since 1986, Traci has made real estate a career by choice. Her dedication to her field keeps her constantly seeking knowledge on the growing and ever-changing real estate industry.

Born and raised in the midwest, Traci came to Tampa in 1982 to attend the University of South Florida and quickly fell in love with Tampa. “For me, it was a great combination of being exposed to a city environment (a departure from the rural town I was raised in), while maintaining small town character and charm”, says Traci.

Traci’s real estate career began in 1986 when she joined Finn Caspersen and Beneficial Corporation, the visionary developer of Harbour Island (a master planned, and gated community in the heart of our Great City). Working 15 years side-by-side with the entire development team, provided the opportunity for Traci to groom her sales and marketing skills, and gain experience in all phases of development. This enabled her to develop a strong intellectual capacity on the legal, financial, construction and environmental aspects of real estate.

Traci has experienced difficult markets, having worked through the late 1980’s and early 1990’s when our country was facing a similar credit crisis with the Savings and Loan debacle. “During that time I developed an excellent foundation and skill set to guide me through the market’s many cycles.” Hard work, goal orientation and persistence has created a loyal and trusting customer base. During times like these, Traci’s quest to seek new and innovative ways to market, combined with 23 years experience in the Tampa market, are the key elements to Traci’s proven success.

Today, Traci is a part of Smith and Associates Real Estate, a boutique real estate brokerage organization. Traci has been one of the top producers in the Tampa Bay area for nearly a decade. She has built a strong team of associates around her who share the same commitment to providing a concierge level of service to all her clients.
